The Florence group of Institutions, Irba, Ranchi, hosted a spectacular Freshers-cum-Farewell party, on 20/12/2025 to foster camaraderie between the incoming batch and the outgoing seniors and Christmas gathering. The event was a memorable blend of excitement for new beginnings and heartfelt nostalgia for cherished memories.
The day-long celebration, held at the Campus Ground of Florence group of Institutions, brought together students, faculty, and esteemed guests for a day filled with cultural performances and emotional exchanges. The objective was to officially welcome the new students into the college community and bid a warm adieu to the final-year students as they embark on their future careers.
The event commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony by the dignitaries including esteemed Chief Guest of this function Mr. Rajesh kachhap MLA,Khijri Deputy CLP Leader in Jharkhand Rama khalkho President jharkhand pradesh Mahila Congress Former mayor ranchi along with Honorable Secretary of the Hazi Abdur Razzaque Educational Society, Mrs. Zeenat Kausar Ma’am, Director of the Florence Group of Institutions, Dr. Shaheen Kausar Ma’am, Secretary of Hazi Ahsan Ansari educational welfare trust, Dr. Nazneen Kaushar madam, Special Guest Ormanjhi Block Deputy Chief Md. Cultural Extravaganza was conducted by Students from various years, who showcased their diverse talents through enthralling performances, including traditional and western dances, singing, and poetry recitations. Ramp Walk & Titles by students was done with lively ramp walk and introduction round was held for the freshers, while seniors walked the ramp with elegance, sharing fond memories of their journey. Crowning Ceremony was conducted, where Titles of Mr. and Ms. Fresher and Mr. and Ms. Farewell were awarded to outstanding students based on their performance and personality. Nostalgic Touches were felt in the farewell segment included heartfelt speeches from juniors and faculty, and a touching montage capturing moments from the seniors` college life added a wave of nostalgia. “It was a perfect day, full of fun and emotions, allowing us to welcome our Freshers and give our seniors the memorable farewell they deserve," said by Dr. Shaheen Kausar, Director of the Florence Group of Institutions, “This event truly highlighted the spirit of unity and camaraderie that defines our college community” said by Dr. Nazneen Kaushar Secretary of Hazi Ahsan Ansari educational welfare trust. The festivities culminated in a vibrant DJ night and a grand Lunch, providing students and faculty an opportunity to connect and create lasting memories.
